Students’ Performance in Practical Training: Academicians Evaluation ABSTRACT One of the platforms used to produce high-quality graduates is practical training (PT). It is distressing to discover, however, that the performance of students in the PT program is still questionable. Apart from the on-site assessment done by the students' respective employers, an evaluation by academicians is vital, in order to provide a holistic evaluation of the students' PT performance. The focus of this study is placed on the academicians' evaluation of students' PT from a built environment school in one of the research universities in Malaysia. The criteria assessed are: students' commitment, work quality, effort, communication skills, comprehension of work, self-confidence, and technical skills.
